Job Description

We’re looking to hire a friendly and customer service oriented individual as a  Front Desk (Check In/ Check Out)  to join our team in Venice, FL. The position is full time.

The Front Desk (Check In/Check Out) is a member of the operations and front desk team, responsible for welcoming patients, and ensuring their interaction with EliteHealth is pleasant and performed in a timely matter. Primary responsibilities include checking in patient, verifying appointment information and completing check out procedures. The role requires excellent communication skills, a positive and friendly attitude, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
  • Greet patient and properly check patient in the EMR system
  • Ensure personal information and appointment are accurate
  • If patient is new make sure to complete new patient package forms
  • If patient is new provide overall information about EHG medical services
  • Update insurance information and take patient picture for EMR records
  • Collect any co-payments or balances due, provide information as needed
  • Communicate arrival of patient to clinical staff
  • Monitor arrival time to ensure patient is seen in a timely matter
  • Communicate with center manager if patient is unhappy or dissatisfied
  • At check-out schedule future or outside appointment
  • Print referrals
  • Review flowsheet and collect any additional payments, if needed
  • Provide information about any future diagnostic testing and co-payments, if applicable
  • Assist patient with transportation information if needed
  • Enable and explain the patient portal and Healow
  • Be attentive and answer any questions the patient may have
  • Provide an appointment card and instructions for next visit or appointment
  • Provide information to patient about our 24/7 phone line, chronic care and in-house services
  • Create telephone encounters as needed
  • Check emails and voicemails, make sure to follow up properly
  • Review schedule for the following day to ensure optimization of patient care and make changes if needed
  • Communicate with center manager any concerns or issues regarding patients or co-workers
  • Provide excellent customer service and display positive attitude
  • Work on additional assignments or tasks as instructed by center manager
Requirements:
  • Must be friendly and outgoing, prior medical experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service and patient oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Efficient time management and adaptability
  • EMR knowledge and familiar with medical terminology
  • Prior experience with insurance coverage and plans
  • Must be a team player; ability to work well with others and help as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions by directive
  • Bilingual, a plus but not required

Disponemos de liquido sanitario en la entrada y en toda la instalación, les pedimos a todos que se desinfecten las manos al ingresar a la oficina, de la misma manera, nuestro personal debe desinfectar sus manos antes y después de un encuentro con un paciente.

Detección de síntomas: al llegar a nuestras instalaciones, se proporcionará un cuestionario de salud antes de ingresar con preguntas sobre tos, fiebre y exposición al virus. Nuestro personal también es evaluado diariamente antes de llegar a nuestras instalaciones.

Se toma la temperatura en la puerta antes de ingresar a las instalaciones.

Las salas de espera se han organizado para mantener distanciamiento social, nuestro mobiliario se ha reestructurado para crear el espacio requerido entre los pacientes y hemos colocado marcadores en nuestros muebles y pisos para guiar a nuestros pacientes dónde pararse y sentarse.

Nuestro objetivo es que nuestros pacientes se sientan seguros mientras se encuentran en nuestras instalaciones y reciben la atención excelente y compasiva que merecen sintiéndose seguros.

What to expect when arriving at our facilities.

All patients are screened at the entrance.

Masks are mandatory while in our facility, no mask-no entry.

Our Staff is required to wear all safety equipment, googles, mask and protective gowns to ensure yours and their safety.

Hand Sanitizer is available at the entrance and throughout the facility, we ask everyone to sanitize their hands when entering the office, the same way, our staff must sanitize their hands before and after a patient encounter.

Screening for Symptoms- When arriving at our facilities a health questionnaire will be provided before entering with questions about any cough, fever, exposure to the virus. Our staff is also screened daily prior to arriving to our facilities.

Temperature is taken at the door prior to entering the facilities.

Additional Safety Measures in our Facilities.

Common areas such as waiting rooms and restrooms are cleaned often, especially the frequently touched areas.

Exam Rooms are disinfected between each patient and extensively cleaned at the end of the day.

Waiting Rooms have been arranged to maintain social distancing, our furniture has been changed to create the space required between patients and we have placed markers on our furniture and floors to guide our patients where to stand and seat.

We want our patients to feel secure while in our facilities receiving the excellent and compassionate care they deserve while keeping them safe. EliteHealth follows all safety recommendations from the CDC (Centers from Disease Control). Our patient safety is our greatest concern and all we do is with you in mind.

Our facilities are not offering Covid-19 vaccines now, once it become available in any of our facilities, we will inform everyone.
